The Bias Incident Hotline Project currently has the following volunteer opportunities:
- Advisory Council. The Advisory Council is a group of individuals who oversee and advise on all aspects of the Bias Incident Hotline Project.
- Hotline Phone Support. Hotline phone support volunteers are trained to take calls and provide support and advocacy for any person who has experienced or witnessed a bias related incident.
- Office/Clerical Help. Volunteers assist staff with office duties including mailings, research and data entry.
- Outreach/Publicity. Volunteers assist staff and Advisory Council with outreach into all areas of the community to make people aware of the services of the hotline.
- Fundraising. Volunteers assist staff and Advisory council with all aspects of fundraising in support of the project including grant writing, mailings and community fundraising events.
